Are Jehovah's Witnesses in a Cult?

When misinformed people think of Jehovah's Witnesses, the first thing that comes to mind are clean cut people knocking on doors wanting to start Bible studies. Sadly, this surface image is masterfully created by their leaders to conceal the dangerous and destructive aspects of this bona fide religious cult.

CULT I see what they do everyday yes they are dangerous they will quickley shun people including family to please the elders! Well from the JW's around here the elders are just as bad as any person I know ELDERS that smoke pot, get drunks have affairs, i have had one grab my ass before and we are supposed to please these people???? I am a non baptized JW...I gotta say that i don't really agree with the lack of individuallity..I think that it it too loose tbh...IF all the hospitals would switch to blood free medicines they would save money and an incredible ammount of lives....ALLSO you cant say that 9,000 ppl died because of the lack of blood transfusion..I bet that atleast 95 percent would die anyways...OR if all jws accepted blood transfusion i bet more then 9,000 would die...I dissagree TL:DR

Hi Sis, Was just thinking of you. Per this vid,... In fact there's "cultish" aspects of ANY ORGANIZED RELIGION. That's because only JESUS knows the heart and anyone else making "church" decisions is only guessing to apply an us/them differentiation standard in order to bound a social community. 2000 years ago that was part of survival. Yes i have to agree with everyone here. Religion is really stupid and most of the time no one knows the origin of what they profess to believe so fervently .Anyway, be happy, I say this bullshit has only about 1 or 2 hundred years left before its relegated to the pages of history forever, leaving future humans to wonder how stupid their ancestors were for over thousands of years.

O please! this video is more cult like than jehovah witnesses. Please If i replayed this over and over and over again I would begin to believe it. LOL Im an active/inactive 12 year old JW and believe me, I know brain washing. The religion prohibits all holidays (which I can admit sucks) and does not believe in birthdays but they are trying to preach to people about god. Look at Jehovah witnesses and the Charles Manson cult... difference? I thought so!!!!!!
