I've always loved Skeeter's singing but I never realized until now that she was singing twice. John Lennon did this also. He thought his voice was too weak.

@hayden7541 Multi-tracking was very common in the 1960's. Many artists used it. Lesley Gore and Gary Lewis being two of the most prominent users.
