Well, this bass could be played fingerstyle (like at video!) but it isn´t the better bass for fingerstyle. It´s superb for playing with a pick (but I like play fingerstyle!).
I love hollowbodies basses, but each one is different. The Starfire has a central block; it´s really good bass. The EB2 got a central block also, but the "mudbucker" brings a very different sound (a lot of low frequencies on it).
The Höfers got a more bright and resonant sounds. And Framus brings bite and clear sound, but his neck is perhaps too much narrow. The Coronado is coool.
If you need a good hollowbody bass, made today, highquality, see to the german Höfners (500/2)!
Très bonne basse au son très chaud. Je l'ai jouée de 1968 à 1982, mais revendue moi aussi... dommage. Ces Star-Bass sont sûrement introuvables aujourd'hui.
@Santi66 is it a challenge with fingerstyle?

@Santi66 thanks i like the framus and the fact that it has a thin neck helps me(because I have tiny hands )

The Framus Star bass is great for small hands and playing with a pic.
