@MoreBaccarat Thumbs up for you. What you say is absolutely true. My kids live in CO, we live in MA. I remember those 2 hour dinners. Everything was figured out at the dinner table. Friends at with us. I would eat with friends as a kid. We hardly ever have friends over to talk for hours. We do walk our dog for miles. Thanks for the info

stp being afraid at night. Your a man, most people will be afraid of you if you dress like a homeless person...lol.

@nld1960 We don't eat with other people anymore. (We eat alone. On the run) There is no relaxed sit-down dinner. Having community and neighbors popping over. Spending hours with friends. All these make us absorb less cholesterol and fat from what we do eat. The body of research on this is large (fixed intake, wildly different results). Then on top of that, stress causes us to put on weight, and society as a whole is less physically active (Advent of the drive-through and the ten-block drive)

I agree with you. People in the public eye never say "yeah, I was wrong on that one". I mean what is the big deal? Everyone is so concerned with being right and being irreproachable that it has made for a very disingenous society where nothing is real anymore, and everything is image. I think JFK was the last politician to talk about putting mistakes out in the open so we can learn from them
Besides, it's very important to know that others have struggles and setbacks and perservere anyway. Thx

Isn't it amazing that so many places around the world people are starving or have so little to eat and we have a hard time loosing weight and go through all these gyrations to keep our weight down.I graduated High School in 1963, with around 3000 kids. I cannot remember one fat person.Everyone was just normal. Now we have to actually work and diet, do this and that, just to keep the weight down. There is something going on, I think this government wants us fat.Or trying to keep it down.

Getting healthy. Good job. I hold that above all else because nothing is worth having if you can't live to enjoy it.
film everything that goes into you body would be true accountability and film all exercise you do everyday..;-)

@george4title Yeah that would be kind of hard. I lost 6 lbs. and hit a brick wall. I guess it was mainly water being in the first week of eating better. I am determined though and plan to keep putting the scale at the end of some of the videos. Not really afraid to walk around more lazy than anything I guess. Thanks for watching George. I have over 2k subs now and you were one of the guys who inspired me to start a channel back in 2008 when I was watching ya. Thanks

Good job, MoneyBags! I'm at 264 pounds, so I'm in your boat, trying to lose weight. I've been doing it for only two weeks and so far have lost 3 pounds. What's been working for me is Weight Watchers because I really watch what I eat.

@ggadguy It is about time! No more excuses. I am going to put photos at the end of my videos of the scale to hold myself accountable. HaHa Nothing drastic though, just smarter choices. More exercise, no sugar in the coffee, turkey bacon not real bacon, stuff like that . Best of luck to ya!
