I'm all for protections for non-combatants in war. I extend that to everyone who refuses to fight, not just women.

Ultimately, I don't believe that writing laws and rules is going to actually have an effect though.

@Jcolinsol putting the protection of women in war into law is an important statement, and it certainly does change the reality when there is a law. it doesn't mean that things will INSTANTLY be better, but it is a start.

What your comment says is equivalent to saying, "Well, I'm all for civil rights and whatnot, but I don't believe laws and rules are going to have any effect." WTF? Tell that to someone who lived through that struggle and they might just punch you in the face
