Slowed down version of "For My Father" (Andy Mckee). I did left and right hand close-ups for each part of the song. This is the way I play it, I know its not %100 accurate, but this should be enough to get you through the song.
Leave comments on how this did or didn't help so I can make it better, thanks! Tuning is: ECDGAD capo 3rd
The TAB can be purchased on his website, and the prices are more than fair, so BUY IT and support the artist.

  • what kind of guitar do you have, it sounds AMAZING :)

  • @MrRogger93

It's just a fender. I've had it for almost 15 years.

  • WTF IS IN 5:28 - 5:34???????????????

  • @LtDrPoW

Heh.. not sure how to answer that.. seems pretty clear to me.

  • theres a difference between a tutorial and just showing various sequences of guitar playing.... this is not a tutorial although it is somewhat helpful

  • @chrischris663 I addressed that in a previous comment. I'm glad you found it helpful. Perhaps alongside the tab.. this is sufficient?

  • Although this is really helpful, it would be awesome if you showed exactly what note you're playing and how to play it! (Like a real tutorial, yours is just slowed-down, sorry, but it's still good!)

  • Thanks man!

  • I find it really hard to learn from sheet music, and I had a crack at it last year using just the sheets. Found out the other month I'm dyslexic, so pretty much couldn't read sheet music no matter how hard I tried. Anyway, this is definitely the way I learn so thank's very much for posting this, has helped me out massively :) Thumbs up!

  • not bad at all, good effort..................

  • хуйня)

  • @Cozmonic032 Sorry, when you plucked the 5TH and 1st string, not 6th haha :D

  • Dude, this is an AMAZING tutorial! I've only played guitar about 1 year so I'm not very good but I love this song so much I'm trying to learn it and am actually doing really well with it! :D I can play pretty good but it just takes me a long time to learn it like, it's taken me about 1 hour for each part to really get it into my head. I only have one question though, at 3:09, the 3rd part, when you pluck the 6th and 1st string, do you also pluck the 2nd string? I just can't tell. :P THANKS!
