@FooballGal normally i have stopped replying to these kinds of comments, and i even delete them, but in your case im going to make an exception. according to the news reports, his family keeps idols in thier homes. not only that, go look around youtube, this isnt the only time he has been praying to idols before.

first of all you can't what so ever make others happy and be happy for them and enjoying it, joining in with them in their kufar traditional as one will become kafir him self, you should try to tell them and exaplin in a nice respect manner as to why this is wrong to the kufars.

im getting sick of people constantly writing the same things over again. look there are plenty of videos of salman khan praying inside temples and to idols all over youtube. this is NOT an isolated incident. im looking at another video listed on the right side here. so please quit with the 'he was just clapping bullshit' cuz he was not and this is not the first time either.
