You should really stick to talking about stuff that you know/understand. I have bpd and I'm a self harmer, it's not a bad thing. I mean yeah it sucks, but we know how to behave in insituations and we're not how you are making us out to be.

Believe a lot of artist have a illness, Kurt Cubain had bipolair dosorder. Jim Morisson borderline. Leonard Cohen depression. We all have a psychiatric illness to some degree, feel bad sometimes or lose balans, have stress and anxiety.
The artists sing from their hearts, that's why we relate to them. From deep inside we are partly like the people we listen to. What better way to know a person then their music.
The truth is that balansed people are boring. Who wants to be the office guy?

@composer63 I don't think I am but I have a weird obsession with alleged celebrities with it, like Amy Winehouse... because I can relate to their insecurities, they seem very human to me in that way. I think they can get obsessive about their interests, but don't always follow through them consistently to be honest.

I'm a borderline. I think that Borderlines are more pron to success, cuz they got something to do, they do it.
What is your opinion about Tom Cruise? Does the author of the book mention him?

yes, he is mentioned in the chapter about religion. the author explains that often celebrities search for a kind of guru or a person who can help them. because their souls are torn apart they want to find something in their lives that is normal and gives them strenght.
