An interview with Heinz Reisser, discussing the function of the CHB Engine Family. The CHB Engine is a much more efficient means of Propulsion than "Common Internal Combustion Engines". It makes use of the REISSER-CYCLE, to produce a level of efficiency of 67%. This is a 22 % increase over Common Diesel Engines. While increasing the power output, power to weight ratio, the emissions and oil lubrication are reduced and the later eliminated. Stay tuned and view our websites:

  • @VmtSquad: Since the crankcase and cylinders are separate, there shouldn't be a mixture of air-fuel as well as oil. I do wish, however, that this engine had a DGI system, in which fuel is injected directly into the cylinder, which would mean no scavenging (unburnt fuel passing thru the exhaust port) occurs.

  • @XSAlexio: If it uses a DGI system, it's possible. If not, I also find the 67% efficiency statement to be questionable at best.

  • It seems like the turbo serves not to increase the compression ratio, but more to force out the exhaust and bring new air in, since there are no valves.. ? With a quick look at this, it seems like a step forward from a two-stroke.. but I can't see it being more efficient than existing 4 strokes. Better power to weight ratio, I can see that.

  • @iwantcheese5 as a previous owner of an rx7, i can tell you that they also had a lot of major problems. like the apex seals going wearing to crap after every couple of years. and the also had a very hard time meeting emmissions standards if you were to do any modifications to it. and lets face it, its a 3rd gen RX-7 mods just kinda tend to happen if ya dig.

  • @will8power Compared to the Renesis Wankle engine that's nothing special 231bhp from a 122 kg engine.

  • Bet you this design will get bought by the big oil companies, and now nobody can enjoy it.

  • Still the same sh*t, it creates DIRTY GAS ! Good but not ENOUGH!

  • Amazing design
