and in the Parasite Eve 2, her eyes are blue.

I really like the idea. But I think more could have been done to establish a kind of 'monstrous opera' feeling through a parallel between PotO and PE.

Have you read the book yet by Hideaki Sena? Because the talking about the incident in Japan is actually references to the original novel. You should check it out.

She has blue eyes but they change colors at times. It has to do with her mitochondria. Melissa/Eve has brown eyes in the beginning as they change to green.
