World Refugee Day 2008 Salt Lake City, Utah Part 1

The World Refugee Day of Utah planning commission allowed me to video the festival on June 21, 2008. The footage and video is a documentation for those who were unable to attend and those who did attend and want to review it.
The event consisted of a day long soccer (futball) tournament and an award ceremony. There were invited speakers from the local and state Government and other non-profit organizations. Also, many refugee musical and dance groups performed.
The grounds contained booths from the local community businesses and organizations.
This video was all volunteer and I was glad for the opportunity to provide this for the committee.
Thank you to all who helped out and to the refugees who attended the festival.
