Interrogation/Przesluchanie - 7/8 (English subtitles)

Polish cult classic prison drama about stalinist terror in post-war Poland. Originally made in 1982, then shelved for 7 years till the collapse of the Soviet Block. Described by the authorities as "the most anti-communist film in the history of People's Republic of Poland." Its production led to dissolution of the Film "X" production company led by Andrzej Wajda .

8 years after filming " Interrogation" Krystyna Janda won Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1990 for portraying the main character Tonia.
