This run is done with a score of 34560 points, which was a TSC record at the time of its creation. Death at the end is required for this level score-wise if you want a higher one. It resets all on-screen scores, including your high Hero score, which would knock off a lot of points at the end.

How'd you get past the room where you have to shoot a switch to open the door?

I hit the switch.

If you notice, I lock on to the switch right as I enter that room. The fired shot hits the switch off-screen.

amazin how u do the spin dash then jump of somethin to get more air

It's a bit tricky at first. At 0:40, jumping when near the thing sticking out of the ground will cause you to jump into the upper portion of it. If you charged a spindash beforehand, jumping into it will cause you to get a huge boost in your jump. A similar thing happens on slanted surfaces.
