Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus installed in a 2002 BMW M5. Wifi tethered to a Galaxy Nexus. Install done by Rocky Rico at Rockstar Designs in Houston,TX. Some capabilities include: mp3s, internet radio (pandora, slacker, iheartradio, etc), maps, navigation, torque OBDII app, netflix, youtube, apps and anything else a tablet can do.
Stock head unit relocated to the trunk. Tablet is an input to the stock audio system, keeping the steering wheel volume controls functional.

thats awesome! I've been wanting to do the exact same thing. Do you have any pictures of the setup in the daylight, or details on how you did it? I wand to do the exact same thing in my e39 m5.
