PVC hangman prop. 2-3 hour fabrication time so far. Utilized mostly 1/2" pipe, 3/4" used at pelvis joint and chest uprights for stability.

Click on the link and it will take you to my photo album. If you expand the yellow image it is a diagram of the sizes of PVC pipe I used and the lengths you will have to cut them into.....

Powered by Monsterguts wiper motor and power supply with quick connect terminated wires. Next step is to glue joints, add stuffing and clothing and build wooden structure for hanging. Sound track made with FL Studio, video editing done with Cyberlink.

  • What do you use to connect the wiper motor to the legs not the metal part but what holds it together like nails or rivets?

  • @MMnumber9 The straight metal piece that extends from the motor to the pvc pipe for the action is bolted together using threaded machine screws and nylon lock nuts. I believe they are size 8-32 or 10-32 and about 3/4" in length.

  • How did you power the motor? I have a wiper motor but there is no wire or harness on it .Do you run yours on electric or a bettery?

  • @mojoroxylola 5-12 volts DC.

  • how does the wiper motor work do you just need the motor or do you need the wiper motor controller with it im confused??????? can you help me out.

P.S. Great job i think your props are great

  • @Bmora123 @Bmora123 You can get a new and inexpensive wiper motor from Monsterguts(dot)com. And they also sell the power supplies to power the unit, or you can just find a spare 5 to 12 volt DC wall wart and power it with that to save even more money. In the end I just ended up bolting on a flat straight piece of aluminum stock that I picked up at Lowes, then bolt the aluminum piece onto the PVC pipe that crank the legs. There are some tutorials out there on how to build these step by step.....

  • That's one of the better designs I've seen in a while (ie. Kicking dead man props). Nice video too.

  • Very Nice! Construction looks alot more solid than mine. Just a note, glue may not hold up over time! I used two short sheetmetal screws on each side of the connecteors to hold pieces together. The glue just doesn't hold firm enough under the rough conditions of the kicking.
