I think it's to do with rape. The rape of a woman and the revenge that she seeks. I think the term "rape" is taken literally. "I'm gonna give you back what You've taken with hurt" could be virginity, or just one's freedom/dignity. "Suffer horror she's withstood", "You coward", "This scar makes her heart stronger" and "Your power's control denied And you can't rape me That moment's effect has died" all seem to point towards the violation of a woman.

@2011Deconstruction I think they are better live than on their albums. I've only seen them once, they played after Children of Bodom and supported Slipknot. Machine Head absolutely fucking owned that show.
