Tech notes: Still photos with Nikon D700 and 70-200/f2.8 + TC14E II. Video footage with Canon 5DMKII and 70-200/f2.8. Finding that the hybrid 5DMKII is very challenging due follow-focus and all video mode operation has to be MANUAL focus. Given rhythmic gymnastics is constant moving subjects across carpet...my current conclusion...you're better off going full camcorder with AUTOFOCUS.
