Fact: Twilight (and other such novels) is so popular that it has literally changed our 'pop' culture.Teenage girls in real life have got into physical fights over Vampire Versus Werewolf (fictional) debates!
Myth: Its just a fad! It will pass!
Truth: These books are directed at the youth of america (and yes I have read them) and they are designed to change our views of traditionally evil beings.
Question:Should this happen? Should we call things that are evil good and things that are good evil?

@NovaTanker1 It's called validation of mass self-delusion. I've been in pep rallies for cancer patient support groups where they worked themselves up into near denial that they even had the disease, as it was considered a positive step in their healing process. So it's not always a bad thing to suspend disbelief en masse. In Driscoll's case though~ He's just shooting fish in a barrel that want to be shot. Sucks for them. But at the end of the day who really gets hurt? Thats my .02 on it.

Wait, is he suggesting fiction shouldn't exist... You'd be surprised with how many people actually enjoy these and are strongly religious... This guy's an idiot and shouldn't be talking at all...
