I'm confused. Why you fight something that, just doesn't exist?
If someone can explain this to me, I appreciate.

@yhayduke In the 60s, there was a huge group of young Americans who were devoid of ethnicity because the were so homogenized with multiple ethnicities that they had no song, no dance and no culture. This lost tribe formed their own tribe called the hippies... complete with tribal headbands, love beads and tribal sexualities. In the 80s, the new lost tribe of culture shocked people, are called the NEW AGERS. They are really not Buddhists,,, just New Agers... NOT Buddhists,,,hang some prayer flags

If a field of rice is limitless, can you take all of the rice for yourself? What if you don't own the field of limitless rice- but a king owns the limitless field of rice? What might the king give you? If it was a kind and just king you would get just as much as you need of the rice, while everyone else got some too. If it was a cruel and unjust king then some people might get lots, while some people don't get any at all. Energy may be limitless, but the amount you get is always limited.

Yeah he was a drunk and his main student gave people aids. But you know what , his students are pretty nice people and some of the ones I have met have solid practices. I am not a follower of his, but the proof is in the pudding and the groupies are gone and the meditators stayed behind. They will succeed more than any of the traditional schools as they adapted to the west. They actually practice and the results are evident.

If you can't defeat demon alcohol, you had better stop fighting and leave her alone, or you will not be able to achieve any kind of spiritual realization.

haha. i get your point. but your wrong. theres no fight in the mind of awakening. just transmutation and inheritance. basically he would have fucked a demoness if he met her in form. but he is speaking of energy. silly boy. this isnt world of warcraft. its the craft of ending the war with the world. ill check out your action figures though. im curious.

I think the point here is that if you are dealing with cloudy thoughts, they are not FIRST THOUGHT. There is always FIRST THOUGHT, we just often catch on to the fact we are thinking at thought 234,573,123rd ;)

Chuckle, you think it's real. Too fascinating.
Chogyam Trungpa is my root teacher ... you vastly underestimate him which is your misfortune and limitation.
Practice, direct experience and a spiritual friend is totally necessary. Otherwise you might get yourself into a peck of confusion and solidify it.
Chogyam Trungpa drank and loved women (he loved all his students dearly) and never hid either fact; he loved wisdom, going right on past limited conventional mind to provoke and nurture wisdom and compassion in others; he was the farthest thing from a fraud that you could have ever encountered in this world. Look up the word "mahasiddha." He was a modern such person.
