Hi I posted a video response on a problem I have with failure to extract/eject. I followed your steps and it has improved but I still have the same problem every couple of magazines. I assumed this was due to the extractor being too loose so I tightened it but it is still a bit of a problem. What do you think?
Thanks!

I have a Kimber Pro TLE II that's having a feeding problem, the slide fails to return to battery due to the casings getting stuck on the bolt face as if they are too wide for the extractor. Also, when it ejects, the rounds hit me dead center in the top of the head 6 times out of 7.. I'm about to take the extractor out and adjust it, and i have a feeling this will be exactly what the doctor ordered. . but if not, where else should i look? Also, excellent video!

@donalbaine Check the hook on the extractor while you have it out and make sure all the edges are crisp and smooth. Also check the feed ramp and it sound be smooth as glass. Those would be the first things to check out.

nice vid... thanks for the info. took my slide apart for the first time while watching... extractor was filthy. cleaned it up and seemed to help my nose diving problem.

@BrandorT Depending on round counts it can gft pretty nasty inside there and cause all kinds of issues. Glad to here it seems to have fixed the problem. If you continue to have feeding problems let me know and we'll see what we can come up with.

So, is this how Brent fixes the brass ejecting to the face problem with Colt 3" 1911s?
