Trying to identify the engines in these fantastic rigs. Need to up the skills. Early on I could mosty see Chevy powering those slingers but then, I believe, a variety of Hemi's started to appear.
Jerry Ruth could have been there but wonder if Big Daddy Garlits and the Swamp Rat made it up to Washington during this?

Thanks for sharing some amazing racing history. Seeing that early rear engine digger was especially awesome.

Looks to me that there is someone standing about 20' from the start with a green flag. You can just see him in a couple of the runs about a minute and a half into the video.
