  • So, going up, C normal scale and then, coming back down, C minor normal scale. ?

  • @Silas150 In a melodic scale when you ascend you raise the 6th and 7th notes of the scale which are A and B and when you go back it becomes a natural minor scale, therefore A becomes Ab and B becomes Bb.

  • when you play from beginning c to the right it's true but from right to lift i don't understand o_O?

  • you don't return to natural minor on the way down, it's one of the melodic minor myths which we are indoctrinated with by classical education. It's a scale change, no longer it's melodic minor.
