This is somewhat technical, but it's the best way to make sure your Final Cut Pro file, audio and video, are setup in such a way that you can give it to a mixing house or a Pro Tools editor. This way, when you get the 48khz (make sure you specify to your sound editor you want a 48khz 24bit stereo .wav file) back you will be able to sync it to your video. If possible run your video .mov through compressor and make it smaller (mp4 would work fine).
