@KrillinGoku - you're SO right - the Creepy Girl in the White Dress with Black Eyes gave me Nightmares for years! "Toby Dammit" is very surreal and scary and they do it with very little special effects - it's the Atmosphere of Impending Evil that makes chills go up and down your spine - not to mention Nino Rota's Music is a Creepy Artistic Masterpiece throughout the enitre Film - especially the
"Toby Dammit" section.

I taped this movie when it was on Turner Classic Movies as part of their 48 hour Halloween marathon a couple of months ago. I think I know what Barrysunshine is trying to say: "Spirits of the Dead is one of those 'one and done' movies.
