Shawn Lane acoustic Jamming with locals in Shillong, India

Here is Shawn Lane talking and jamming with locals in Shillong, India, in Febuary 2003, with Shawn playing a `Martin Backpacker` Travelling acoustic guitar.

This clip i edited brings me close to tears. I debated about whether or not to post this clip, but i think it will show another, more normal and vunerable side to Shawn, apart from his otherworldly knowledge & musical ability.
This video was taken around 8 months before Shawn sadly passed away.


I have re-authored 'all' the footage (that i edited this clip from) to DVD and gave it a menu, and uploaded the DVD here for anyone to download for free :

@Kingding6 Agreed, it is very sad to watch!.... though at least we know Shawn was really happy to be there, he'd wanted to travel to India for many years. Also, i know personally that this is Shawn's own daughter's favourite video of Shawn.

I love how he just stops talking and just simply smiles and joins in the jam all of the sudden. He really was caught up in the music and I can say that it's such a beautiful thing too.
