  • First truck i ever drove was a Chevy Titan 90 with an 8V72, 15 Direct in it. That thing flew. Nothing like doing 90 in a Cab-Over. Keep us posted.

  • I will try to get another video update soon.

  • hey is that in oakland cali

  • @MrJevonmartin No, further south it's in Long Beach Cali.

  • and now the question,

    CAN WE HEAR THE V12?!

cant wait till i hear the roar of a 2 stroke v-12 diesel...

  • My friends got the 12 pack running already but they are to busy for me to go down and shoot the video will see if they make some time I want hear that monster roar.

  • hey do it got a 13 speed tran

  • that looks like the origional bj and the bear kenworth it has the sticker on the side

  • correction *was that the engine.

  • not to sound like a rube but was that the engine that sea offered in the freightliner superliners?

  • @Desmodromic916 -- 12V71 means it has 12 cylinders of 71 cubic inches each. That adds up to 852 CI, or about 13.9 liters.. Detroits are 2 cycle engines so they put out more horsepower per CI than 4 cycle engines. My last truck was an International ("cornbinder" in trucker language) with a 6V92 that put out 335 HP. 2 cycle Detroits aren't built anymore since Daimler Benz bought Detroit Engine Division.from General Motors Corp. No big loss, they were very thirsty and leaked oil like a sieve

  • Frame is too long in my opinion Sorry. But still cool....

  • some of those were only rated to about 525 hp ,,, it may not do as bad on fuel than most think ,,, we had some off highway trucks at work ,, the one with a 12v did the best on fuel

  • see that

  • I wanna hear this run when your done!! Awesome looking truck!!! I remember these so well back in the day..
