Hello there! Christians are defined as being followers of Christ and the official name of our church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints". We believe and follow Christ and are in fact Christians. As far as the "opinions" you referred them as, I would personal call it counsel. Mormon Messages are meant to help uplift and strengthen everyone. For more info on our beliefs check out Mormon.org :)

I am 18 and am working on my Mission paper work

I can testify to everyone who feels lost that there is hope

Read the Book of mormon and read a little bit more everyday and you will feel the spirit and feel peace

No temperal substance or feeling can come close

I don't mean to be a total buzz kill, but there's something wrong with you if you're not afraid of death. Even the early Church members were scared out of their minds when they were being hunted down and executed.

People are terrified of dying. Its seems to me that humans are primed to believe stories that tell us we will live forever. Especially when the truth is decided by a feeling you have...

You "knew you were going to your death" and you were wrong. Just like you are wrong when you say you know the church is true.

In all due respect to Russell M. Nelson, he is an exception, because of the fact that he is an Apostle, with extra rights to the Spirit. I am sure there are many faithful LDS who would still, (in the vernacular), freak out as well, if this airline incident occured to them. It's like comparing apples to pinapples. Not very many of us have our callings and elections made sure, once again, in all due respect to a very wonderful man, Elder Nelson.

All have sinned and greatly offended the Holy God of the bible. The just punishment is death then Hell. That's not God's will. He loved you so much that He became a man in the person of Jesus Christ and suffered and died on the cross paying for the law you broke in His life's blood. Now He can legally dismiss your case. You must repent turn from your sin and trust alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation.

Mormons please wake up, research your history Stop trusting your salvation in the hands of a man that took teenage brides an hid them from Emma. It's all documented in "In Sacred Loneliness" by Todd Compton, an active LDS historian. Read the new testament and become born again, believe in Jesus and stop trying to work for your "exaltation". Stop letting these men come between you and having a personal relationship with Christ
