I can't express how much I needed to hear this. My world has been so full of fear and sadness lately. Recently I lost my grandfather and this summer my dad was diagnosed with lymphoma in the same week that my grandmother was diagnosed with leukemia. I'm only sixteen but I have had to become more of an adult than I would like. The last few months have been especially hard for me when I've felt most alone. I now realize that all I need is to lean on the Lord as I one knew how when I was little.

I love how this message can speak to anyone, Catholic, Mormon, or Atheist. They can all relate to it in some way whether they admit it or not.

@TheHACKism Repentance will most assuredly come to you if you have real intent, which it appears that you do. The key is that when our Heavenly Father answers you He wants you to the value the answer and the blessing you receive. Be patient. Most importantly, the answer you receive can sometimes come in the most unexpected way. It could be from a friend, a talk in church, the Holy Ghost during prayer, even on the internet!! Do not cut yourself off from these sources or your answer may be lost

@TheHACKism Make sure you're praying right ...don't hold back anything from Our Father in Heaven, He knows our thoughts so let it all fly

If you're not sure if your praying the right way then read all you can on the subject ....good place to start is "The teachings of the Presidents of the Church"or they all discuss this subject with great love

I'm you're same age and I'm having what I can imagine are similar issues. I've been struggling to know. My faith has faltered and I have sinned greatly in the past. Its taken me a few years but I'm starting to finally understand. Don't expect it all to come at once. Most times a mighty change of heart takes place in small increments that are almost impossible to notice. Don't give up and keep praying. The Lord loves you and wishes to keep you <3
