Brony website, PonyArchive.org, has taken down its free episodes of 'My Little Pony Friendship is Magic' after warnings from Hasbro. Aint no fun if the Bronies can't have none.
Ironically, there's a link to a full episode in the related videos. PonyArchive is - was - not the only source of free episodes, although the quality was better than on Youtube. And I have found high-quality episodes on ThePirateBay, so I believe the title of this video is greatly exaggerated.
Uh this does not seem like anything new or anything to be upset about. It is a common copyright thing. People were putting up episodes online without permission from Hasbro so they had it taken down. It happened to a lot of other shows too, this is not new.
@SaharaBryant Making episodes free? That has got to be the dumbest thing I have heard in 2012 so far. Not only is it hard for most animated shows to push merchandise but if they make no money off of airing their episodes where are they going to get the money to make BluRays? Have you thought of that genius?
@ManicRaider Hey great idea. How about we get the government to cancel everything on TV and the Internet too. Do you have any idea how many mentally unstable NON-bronies there are in the world? What the world NEEDS is MORE bronies.
Also, when are companies going to realize that you can make a shit-ton more money by making the episodes FREE. People will buy up your merchandise and Blu-Rays in droves if they love your show.
@ManicRaider The only think that's messed up about this story is how slanted it is. Seriously, the guys at PonyArchive are just being assholes. Most bronies are pretty normal people who just happen to like a little girls cartoon.
@ManicRaider THANK YOU!!!!

Also people spend money to make this show, it is only fair that they should expect some pay for it. They should not be expected to do this for free.
