This series of broadcasts uncovers the truth behind the US Executive Branch's Historic Mismanagement of the Taiwan question over the past half-century. Based on an examination of the laws of war, international treaty law, and US Constitutional law, a complete dissection of the complicated inter-relationship between Taiwan, the USA, and China is offered. Proceeding with a clear recognition of these legal fundamentals, the question of whether Taiwan is currently independent, or under the jurisdiction of the PRC, Japan, or some other country can be answered, and the proper direction for Taiwan's future political development quickly becomes apparent.

  • if the legality bothers him so much than why doesnt it bother japan and the u.s.? they do not seem to mind the current status of the r.o.c. on taiwan. some people get obsessed with legality so much that they only stir the cauldron of political controversy. this bothers no one else, apparrantly the u.s. has legal status and simply needs to transfer that and sovreignty to the r.o.c but that might provoke a war with the ccp. and nobody wants that. so the ccp sabre rattles and the u.s. tolerates.

  • the ccp will never agree to anything that makes taiwan something other than a province of the p.r.c. thats what they claim and the ccp wont settle for less. the r.o.c. will not reliquish power in any way, that would diminish there current status and control. legally or not the r.o.c. has been governing extremely well. you cannot simply push them aside in the name of legality based on int'l law, without problems. that same law gives the r.o.c "ubi possedetis", the right to possess

  • @pttcc he has an ax to grind, in my opinion.

  • @bryanchou no. i think its up to the japanese and the u.s. to simply formalize transfer of sovreignty to the r.o.c. and make it clear and official instead of all this controversy.

  • TAIWANESE NEED to REMOVE KMT in order to establish the entrance to UN. Also remove all names associae with the word "CHINA" within all of its infrastructure weather its goverment or private own. Its pretty clear isnt it.

  • Is this guy a professional double talker?
