On 2010-08-28, The GF and I visited the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, WA. Once you enter, you can buy your tickets and loaves of bread and drive amongst the animals. Don't give all your bread to the llamas, zebras, and yak (they'll want it) becuase you want to save some for the bears. They'll wave at you and catch the slices your thow. The bears are behind a wire fence, by the other critters pretty much roam free. Despite the fact that they could easily kills us if they got out and chose to, they were still adorable. This 3:19 video has some of the highlights.

The music is "Morning Blue" by Josh Woodward (http://joshwoodward.com and http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/72458.

  • can you touch these animals

i would love to go there someday but i ain't gonna touch a bear

  • @lukepevensie You can touch many of the ones who stick their noses in the car, but the bears are not among them. They bears are all on the other side of a light fence that may be electrified (I don't recall for sure) but you can easily toss bread to them and they love it.

  • I'd heard about those bears.

They were on the news here in Australia for some reason because someone just kept waving at them, and they kept waving back.

Now I see this, I don't think they realised the bears were just saying "GIVE ME FOOD"!
