I remember in the book it was very upsetting how even though the doctors in that facility had hazmat suits and respirators, they still fell ill. It made it even more dark. Like, you couldn't hide from it and you couldn't escape it. Even in their "space suits".

@Elmagnifico37 Nice to hear brother...I feel the same way you do. I feel our faith was hijacked by people who want nothing to do with the true will of God. Jesus spelled it out very clearly for the world to see. Love God, then love one another. The Good Samaritan, the prodigal son, so many stories and a life of total compassion. And these people nowadays have the nerve to stand up and use HIS name and then do the opposite. I find it sickening.

@Pwells1  The thing about it that burns me up is this nut acts like Stu somehow KNOWS why he's immune and like it's his fault, let's see, THEY"RE the scientific experts but HE'S supposed to know why he's the only one not dropping dead? Nice to see those diplomas didn't go to waste.

@Pwells1 Did not realize. He changed it so goddamn much that the book is completely different, but far more better. I read all 1178 pages.

@MooseDishes I love how they do it here. Once the guy comes in, and he has no suit, it just shows, wow, he's screwed. He's dead, and the suit did no good. It's over. It's a great visual.

Also, I like how you say "They" change it. Stephen King wrote the screenplay himself, so HE changed it.

In the book, the person who comes in has been ordered to kill Stu, and he wears a suit even though he is sick. The suit part kills him, and Vic is still alive there, but dying. I know they change it, but heh, it bugs me.
