  • Where did the 4.07 come from?

  • @AznAndrewPhan 4.07 x 10^-13 is the result of taking 10^-12.39. 10^-12.39 = 4.07 x 10^-13, they are equal numbers. You need to know how to how logarithms work in order to turely understand why that is (more than this simple video or reply can do). For simply finding pH, you must know how to punch 10^-12.39 into your calculator. This is more difficult than it seems as it can be very different for different calculators. Sorry this isn't much help. Good luck!
