There are a lot of Shinobi games in the franchise but Shinobi Legions on the Sega Saturn seems to stick out like a sore thumb.

  • Another lame reviewer who is far too confident in his own wittiness (or lack thereof).

Shinobi legions had an excellent reception at the time and was both challenging and highly entertaining, and the FMV wasn't bad at all.

If anything is a train wreck, it's your game reviews. Perhaps try to do something a little more original. The overly critical review genre is already very densely populated.

  • First off, in the end I said it was a good game and you should buy it if you have a Saturn. Second, I've never heard anybody praising the FMV in this game, you are the first. Third, you obviously haven't seen many of my reviews because most of them are of games I really enjoy.

  • What's the name of the song during the intro? Good review. BTW, NICK!

  • Pain by Soulfly

  • Umm, those aren't Shuriken, they're Kunai!

  • OMG the story plot was really painful to read. If i ever meet the person that wrote that in this lifetime I will run and drop kick him or her in the chest like Zangief from Street Fighter...seriously that was really painful to read.

  • Um B movie Ninja movie cut scenes this is freakin awesome lmbo. :)

  • A lot of games had digitized graphics. You can use more than just real actors when you are using digitized graphics you know. You can use clay models, or even 3D CGI models. Primal Rage used digitized graphics of clay models. Donkey Kong Country, Killer Instinct, and Yoshi's Story used digitized graphics of high quality 3D CGI models.

  • 7:30,best quote of the whole review love ya for that swag

  • i really liked this game when i got my sega saturn.

  • you bash too much on the FMV... its not really that bad for a video game. And was such an novelty t the time.

Also, it dont interfere with the game since you can skip them.

The graphics were also very good, you migh consider a success, like Mortal Kombat

  • i dont remember giving a shit about game titles or stories during 16 or 32-bit era, as long as the game was fun i liked it, i remember mashing buttons during any and all dialog to get back to the game, but unfortunately this game was pretty terrible, revenge of shinobi and shinobi 3 were the best

  • i think revenge of shinobi, shadow dancer and shinobi 3 are all fantastic games!

  • Another good game witg GOOD diditized graphics, and great game, the donkey kong country series.

  • swag what about Killer Instanct or Mars Matrix?

arent those games made with graphics like shinobi legions or mortal Kombat?

  • I love this game. The fmv is completely stupid. Sega got carried away with that when they came out with the Sega CD with games like sewer shark and corpse killer But this games really good. It's not the best version of this series but it's definitely lots of fun.
