Just a short photo slide show with images of the 2nd and 3rd Iroquois style lacrosse sticks I've made with some home-made music.
With each attempt, I get better at making these. The 2nd one was made primarily by my friend, Haden, for his school project. The images are sort of mixed together, but as the process is pretty much the same, it really doesn't matter. The 3rd stick I made is the one with the red and yellow bands of color on the stick. These two sticks turned out much better than the first one! live and learn....

@lacrossekid999, It probably took about a hour to split the log and initially shape the wood making it ready for the steam tube. Then I steamed the wood for about 1 hour. After that, I let the wood cool and dry after bending the big bend for about 2 weeks. Then I spent some time shaping the stick...maybe just 2 hours total (but not all at once). Then I made the 2nd bend in the wood - to make the set back in the stick (see video around 2:45). then final shaping & stringing maybe 2more hrs?
