It's interesting when you look back into a culture which used to be quite brutal and sexist, and strict, politically and in tradition and religion. Body modifications like lip plates and feet binding seem to only be intended for women, and hell did they go through alot!

This is how I understand part of my ancestors story on footbinding and their culture ....

@MadMarshmallo It only exist in the most weak dynasty in China. Its purpose is it can make the wife 100% rely on her husband as she loose the ability to live by herselves and can only do the housework every day. Qing Dynasty is the most stupid time in China.

The men used to get foot jobs with it, which is one reason why the crease in the sole of the foot was desirable.

interesting thx
I reckon ancient chinese people, especially the females, could of taught us a thing or two about suffering!
Foot binding was just one of the brutal customs, and another strange thing about it is that chinese men actually wanted foot bound girls/women because the small crease it created on the sole of the foot, between the heel and the deformed toes, was the prefered area for sexual intercourse!
Imagine accidentally walking into their room and seeing that thing happening..wow!
