The only problem I have with this video is that you lose detail in the skin and it becomes more fake looking. I haven't too many high quality magazines where you can't see detail. Just saying.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but my brushes don't change anything at all on my photos. :(
Your tutorial is really good though, it might be my gimp or something I'm not sure, but it's really frustrating as I'm really new to Gimp so maybe that's why.
