@angelguitarmask You obviously dont know what your talking about because everyone in the front 7 is responisble for their own gap. The MLB is responsible for the A-gap which is between the C/G. Ruud should have been able to split that double team against the 49ers but wasnt physical enough to do it. Bucs need a new MLB. GO BUCS!!!

ruud plays the middle linebacker in the tampa 2 defense, so what does he do? he goes 10-20 yards down the middle of the field because thats his job. the outside linebackers get all the attention not the middle linebacker of the tampa 2 defense. thats why the great derrick brooks is going to the hall of fame.

I've seen him get beat way to many times. Go watch the saints game he was just hesitating way to much. Hes becoming a liability and I don't see us paying him what he thinks he deserves next year. Some team will overpay him in FA and be pissed...

I don't enjoy that radio show anyways. Those guys talk and talk but never really say anything.
I don't think Ruud is terrible and I do think there are other areas of more concern, but I also believe an upgrade is needed.
