@lgbtTV4 I am very appreciative videos like this which let us know about ALL of the dysfunctionality behind all of the films we think are so interesting or beautiful. Nothing more than illusion. Believing what we feel when we are told stories by this ilk of humanity is a bad choice imho.

BTW, I never said anything here was okay. It's just personally gratifying. The only other choice he had was just to sit back and take it. And that is probably what Lils wanted him to do. Bad move.

@unholyimage It's NEVER okay to be physically violent at work, especially when there are bystanders. In another post, I listed the time signatures of 4 acts of violence, 2 of which could have injured people. First, things went flying from the desk to that woman's face. Then he kicked up books that could have fell on Hoffman's eyes and head.

If he had a PERSONAL issue with Tomlin, pull her aside and have it out. His actions would get most people fired and Security called.

@wiredhorn Tomlin was being a diva but there was NO excuse for physical violence. Watch that poor woman at the door who had to shield her face from the flying papers (1:16). Then he went back to kick up the books, which could have easily injured Hoffman (1:23). At 1:36, Tomlin flinches as if the director threw something at her (but missed? There was a thud). And when he comes back in, he knocks over a lamp at 2:16.

He was being a child yet he accused Tomlin of behaving like one.

And after all of this, the movie still sucked.

Hahahaa. The funniest part is when he goes out one door yelling and comes back through the other still yelling. Even though I know he can be a jerk, I am siding with him though. Lilly was acting like a total bitch and he was trying to be patient and soft with her. But she just kept it up, and boom! Hahahaaa.
