Blue Angels fly the F-18 Hornet.  The Thunderbirds fly the F-16 Falcon, which is shown in this video.

I think the Hornet because of it's high angle of attack capability, but the Viper isn't far behind with it's agility.

the f-16 fly's at higher AOA than f-18. also has a better roll rate, will out turn, out accelerate it and at time to altitude the f-18 will not touch the F-16.
