IN THIS VIDEO, watch as the three F-104s depart from NAS Oceana back to their home base at Kennedy Space Center. The Starfighters were based at Oceana for a while as a staging point between airshows, and as one member of the team told me, it was one of the few places that had all of the equipment the team needed. I apologize for the poor video quality, as I was trying my best to get the best video under VERY WINDY conditions, which persisted through Saturday night, but as you can tell in this video, the winds weren't as bad on Sunday as they were earlier in the weekend.

Thanks for this. Lovely, light, fast hotrods from the Skunkworks. Had a reputation for sosrting the men from the boys although a lot of the boys learned the very hardest way. Official name starfighters but known as widowmakers after a while !
