If anyone can tell me where I can find a family plan for a family of four, not one single person, for $30 without a contract or any other type of obligation, besides Tracfone, let me know.
I think i saw this commercial on tv right before i bought a tracfone. That said I am happy i saw this ad because i am happy with my tracfone. Consider this comment my way of paying the favor forward.
@GrinF1, right in the same boat as you. I am able to do more stuff with my kids too thanks to Tracfone. I don't know the ages of your kids, but just so you know.. you can put your kids on different plans than you and your spouse so you can limit their minutes and texting. My little one is only 9 and she has a phone just in case of emergency and she is on the smallest plan Tracfone offers. It works out great for us :)
My family definitely enjoy staying connected for only $30 a month with TracFone. We've never had reception issue and the savings allow me to do other stuff with my kids. It's been working out great for us :)
@OliviaSpencer09 It's thanks to the family plan in the first place that I can afford to keep cell phones in the family. That plan, and certainly the cheap pricing of the actual phones. I'm now spending exactly what I was spending with one contract phone, except there's four phones added to that.
I actually wasn't aware Tracfone had a family plan until I read the comments here and I can't believe four people could talk for $30 when companies like Metro PCS charge $40 for one person with unlimited service. While I'm aware that the minutes aren't unlimited with Tracfone, the price is certainly a good one and no contract forces family members to all take a particular phone. Is coverage still the same and how are the minutes split?
My entire family is now on the nationwide tracfone service. It's been the gift that continues to give with the amount of savings that we experience each month. We've decided to pay it forward and bought some for our relatives this Christmas. I'm sure they'll love it. No contract, no bills, and AT&T service in our area make it unbeatable!
I'm a prepaid customer myself and I'm pleased with the freedom of having this kind of service. Now I've been searching for a good xmas presernt for my dad and really this tracfone service is amazing. On their website they have unbeatable sales, no shipping and a $10 gift card when you buy a phone and some model even include a 60 minutes card or double the minutes, it's a great deal for the holidays.
Tracfones Straight Talk unlimited plan is the hottest deal out right now! Unlimited talk, text, web and data with no overages for only $45 a month is a steal. It makes a great gift for the holidays and is incredibly affordable for everyone.
Wow, that's less than taking a family of four out to dinner these days! You can find Tracfone at all your favorite stores..Target, Kmart, Walmart, Family Dollar, and I'm sure there are many others. What I really like is that they sell you minutes, not dollar amounts. You will always know how many you are really getting and can add more if need be. Why would anyone even consider going with a contract anymore, you do have options.
I'm thinking you won't find such a thing. The only prepaid cell phone company I know that has this kind of family plan pricing is Tracfone. They have really put themselves in a very good position. Even if this doesn't work out, at least you haven't invested in expensive phones with contracts. I will say, with the amount of minutes you get, it will be a great lesson in control and budgeting your time wisely. Which, by the way, is a good thing.
