How can it be fullly sealed yet have a cooling fan. where does the cool air come from....and where does the warm air go?

haha.. 4ft drop is not special at all. My t20 was pushed off a 4ft table, landing face down on hardwood. Only damage was scrapes on the palm rest. No loss of even while writing a file. 4 ft drops should not be a selling point.

so what happens when its on and you drop it and it hits a corner first

Wow, let me get this straight, you can drop the XFR from 4 feet if you remember to turn it off and close it first? Great stuff Dell! Youre funny! Ill go out on a limb and say most people that accidentally drop their rugged laptops dont remember to turn them off and close them first.
Also, I heard that the ballistic armor on the XFR is really just plastic.
Dell, please stick to what you are good at and dont try to play in markets where reliability is the name of the game.

$5000 gets you a laptop that's as durable as my $10 watch.
