@Thelittleking1980 There is incredible urgency! If parents want their child to have a chance of speaking and hearing at a level comparable to their hearing peers, they MUST get the implants done as soon as possible, with the best results for children under the age of five, optimal results for children under two years old...If I ever were to have a deaf child, I would not hesitate for even one second, I would want my child to be implanted before his/her first birthday. CI's are amazing technology

IronTeeth27, you have no idea how much oppression that are so heavy or lasting as that which are inflicted by the perversion and exorbitance of legal authority with CI on babies or how dirty business they are doing. Listen, You do not have the IRON TEETH to get CI yourself.

There is many kids that are happy with it. Have you been to any of the cochlear celebration conferences? Its the inspirational equivalence of a deaf expo. So many people and so many kids like living with a CI now because there is the inspirational support that wasnt available before the late 90's. Only the folks that got the CI when there wasnt the inspirational support for it are the ones thats giving you the fodder to bash CI.

@IronTeeth27 Your Vlog is ridiculous! You just defeated the very point you were trying to make. You said "Some people want it, they get it". You were implying CHOICE.
Kids implanted with CIs were done without CHOICE.
There is no such urgency for parents. You are making that up. I suppose you suggest that when parents get boys instead of girls, they should put their newborns under sex-change treatments so they could get what they always wanted against the child's will, right?

CI wont be necessary for me as I'm going to be getting stem cell treatments to re-grow the hair cells in my cochlea once they open up the S. B. Gross clinic at UCI.
