Top 4 Reasons not to buy:
1. Boring as hell to drive (looking for more than an A 2 B car).
2. Expect rattling and squeaks starting as early as 20k miles.
3. Exterior Design= Boy Racer.
4. Would like the "greener" Hybrid version.

Other Cars: Still very squeaky and loud, but the Nissan Sentra deserves a look, the Mazda 3 (probably the best bet) and VW Jetta( a bit more cash$$$).

about the driving makes u fall asleep man i extremely recommend that u drive one of the manuals. i have a 06 manual coupe with a few mods but my friend has a auto coupe just like mine and its no where close to keeping up with me. something about the auto trannys wants to keep the car out of vtec(shifts early). Great vid though lots of info i just recommend the manual

wow totally didn't even think of that! Thanks for commenting (and with an open mind), I would be totally open to revisiting the car with a manual. I am sure they are two completely different driving experiences.

i would agree with some of your statements about this car, but after test driving a month ago, im impressed with honda creating exterior and interior style that looks alot more expensive then it actually is. If you want to see a shitty car with bad interior plastics, check out the 2009-2010 corolla . Overall this car (in my opinion) gives you the best of both worlds. Good MPG, good exterior/interior styling and most importantanly awesome reliability.

@coolguyfu Haha that's what i was thinking exactly in my head after he said it was slow. I was like what are you comparing it to?!?! A brand new camaro, mustang, porche?? It's a civic and it does great for its 'class'.

I think the Civic would have more pep and get better mileage if it wasn't as bloated and big as it is. I know most cars in this segment have gotten bigger.

Too bad Honda "new" Civic is more of a warmed over version. The new Si looks better but it seems like Honda isn't trying. The competition is leaps and bounds better. Sure honda has good build quality and then you have the loyal followers. But i digress. Like the reviews and insight. I like that you keep it real, its nice.
