The gov't budget is not like a household budget. The fed gov't debt is exactly equal to the net financial assets (ie bonds/cash) held by non-gov't entities. If you want to reduce the US debt, then you're saying you want to destroy some of those private assets.
The only problem that can arise from too much deficit spending is inflation; it's not a concern given our current unemployment situation.
I agree w/ Ron on stopping wars, but his econ is just plain looney.

Make offshore accounts like Romney's illegal and make the rich pay their fair share. End the lucractive laws for the rich and stop stealing from Americans.

@usexoticsltd I just got out of a LONG discussion with another Dr. Paul supporter, so Im a bit fatigued now but please dont take my words out of context. I didnt say Liberty is an old idea. Although I will say it now... I said Dr. Pauls ideas( like pulling all of our troops from around the world) and his age are too old.

@thenewmike2012 Like you, I doubt they'll allow him to become the nominee, and I'm not concerned about that. He's used their platform and has gained support because of it. Those supporters will follow him, regardless of his party affiliation. You say this is his 3rd run and ask why this would end any differently? The entire WORLD has changed... for the worse, and people have changed in response. The sheep are awakening from their slumber. And liberty is NOT an old idea.
