In this video you will learn how to configure remote access solutions on a Cisco router. We will look at how to configure both telnet and secure shell (SSH) on real Cisco equipment.

This is a very important configuration to know for both your CCNA and for the real world.

  • Quick correction -- SSH 1.99 enabled means you have both SSH v1 and v2 capabilities turned on which is the default. "ip ssh version 2" specifically enables SSH v2 only on the router.
