I admire her strength for enduring everything she's been over almost two years... She is different in her own way, and I respect that very very much... I wish people would understand that more, and stop that comparisons "what if Tarja sang this or how it would sound, or what if Anette sang that in "another kind of way..."

People should be themselves...

Anybody that doesnt like Annette Olzon just doesnt like music. The Annette Nightwish album went TRIPLE PLATINUM while the Tarja stuff which is good is selling at the OLD Nightwish levels, so that is case closed. WE ALL LOVE TARJA TARUNEN, so its not about that. Its about where these people are now and what they are currently doing which is some good stuf and if we really like them then we should be on board and supporting them in the new stuff and not quibbling over the past.You got the old cds.

@donnapanda SO YOU HEAR 80s SOUND HERE TOO. I am an 80s product (84 grad). I think this band would have been huge in the US. I know many of these bands personally as I am involved with ProgPowerUSA. I also have a TOTALLY MUSIC/ARTIST CHANNEL to specifically support them, 80s ones too! Many of these do not believe they would be accepted in the US.I told Tuomas & Marco that they are as good performance wise as JOURNEY.They were blown away by that, but its true.They just carried the torch.Its good.

Tarja is a prog diva. Annette Olzon is A ROCKER. Watch any live videos from Lowlands 2008.Just after that concert they came to the US and debuted at PogpowerUSA the new cd.That tour grew 3 fold and Annette collapsed from the exhaustion.I was speaking with Marco at PPUSA last Sept and he was amazed at the US following NW had.When I met Annette in 08, I was imediately impressed by her. She is a joyful person and impossible to dislike.I support Annette & Tarja.They both have blessed me.

this is such good music! i loved pop rock when it was like this back in the 80s! i like anette she is a lovely singer and person and its a treat to hear these songs. i am grateful she joined nw as i had never heard of her before!

@Amorfischo Album Oriented Rock, its a made up term for the 25-35 demo graphic, and tends to play deeper cuts on an album than Top40. Adult Contemporary is very similar.
