"Pro-Choice" (I hate that term) people should carefully study and remind those anti-abortionist bigots of Ceauşescu's Romania. That country, together with its total ban on abortions, was for any woman in need quite frankly hell on Earth.

a mother that doesn't want her child is a tragedy in itself.

I was hit in the pregnant belly by my exhusband because I expressed a desire to have an abortion, because we could not afford a child, because I knew who'd be responsible in the long run--me, a female with little earning capability. He wanted his sperm to live on, no matter the consequence. A good mother wants what is best. A good father listens to the mother.
Another mans opinion has nothing what so ever to do with any of this

@ipublica I'd consider him pretty moderate if a tad left leaning. Over all though, he uses reason and elegance, which apparently doesn't have any appeal to cable news junkies.

well said, religion has all the right to exist and people have all the right to their religion, but religion has no place in public policy. can you imagine a world where you can be fined or put in jail for eating meat on Fidays, or for working on Sundays?
