I'm learning this P&F as part of an audition in May and I'm having some trouble with it, so does anyone have any tips about playing it? I've only played through the first page of the prelude (I just started it today) and I'm struggling with playing it through without stopping.

@ComradeCrackhead The prelude is way more beautiful :)

@Pianoplayer002 it's called an augmented first :)

@JiGaRiCe Pianos are always out of tune

Good!

@Pianoplayer002 A minor 2nd.

@220392123 No. A minor 2nd is a 1/2 step smaller than a major 2nd. Every major interval (2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, and their 8ves) has a corresponding minor interval that is a 1/2 step smaller.

ROCKGUITARMEM, there is no such thing as a minor 2nd, it's just a 2nd, only one type, 2 semitones. not being a bastard i hope
