I think a fair tax is a flat tax and dump the corprate taxes that make it more enticing to send jobs overseas.

Almost all countries charge fees for entrance at their borders and some far more than the equivalent of $14. As to losing jobs , please give me a break . Look at the our US companies sending manufacturing as well as other jobs to those same markets. All lost to cheaper labor in those countries.As to the visa process the country may need to augment the embasy staffs that vet those applying, but to lower the standards is asking for trouble.
